If music be the food of love, play on. Without a doubt this is the exact branch that fated artist Bex Meli is happily swinging from. With music living in her bloods from a young age, this lady has taken her love of music, to a promising and very cool career both in the console and in the studio. Her journey explores tech, minimal progressive, house and disco sounds.

At a junior age, self-confessed loco Bex Meli saved every last penny to pursue the purchase of equipment that would take her from the bedroom to the DJ box. Like all parents, Bex’s only wanted the best for her…and music just wasn’t going to cut it. Kicking down the walls, Bex Meli took a leap of faith and landed feet first at her first gig at Mardi Gras Sydney. QBar and its 400 party proud patrons got a lot more than a parade full of glitter that night. They got the love and soul of this fresh female artist. For Bex Meli this was the beginning of a record she just couldn’t take off the turntable.

Dance music, often categorizes itself into one vibe, one stereotype and one experience, yet for Bex Meli, inspiration for her love of house, classic,  and Funky beats came from far and wide. Diversity and uniqueness of artists like Enya, Moby, Lykke Li, Calvin Harris, The Crookers, Deadmau5, Paul Oakenfold and Silverchair, has created a musically driving playground.  Her idol is Carl Cox, the way he dj’s the way he plays for the crowd, his music selection and just his persona is what dj bex meli inspires to be.

With her crazy persona and erratic volume for life, this revved up DJ carries a lot of passion with her, allowing music to lead her over every stepping stone. She is unstoppable, loves to DJ and will sit on edge if she’s not doing what she loves.
