There’s no denying the man’s got talent. DJ Julian Lacey is on fast track to Super-International-DJ Stardom. Based in Sydney, Julian combines his exceptional skills as a DJ, and extensive knowledge of the music industry, to make him a force to be reckoned with all over the map.

A resident DJ at Sydney’s infamous QBar for nine years, Julian Lacey was the DJ that put the club on the map throughout the heady late 90’s & most of the insane noughties house days. Faced with one of Sydney’s toughest dance crowds, Julian killed it week in & week out, providing sets that consistently rocked the house.

Julian has held guest DJ spots in many Sydney clubs and top interstate clubs in Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, as well as international invitations to play in clubs in New Zealand, Fiji, Singapore, and Bali. Across the European summer of 2011 and 2012, Julian played sets in Ibiza at venues including Kanya Beach Club and Hotel Es Vive, further jettisoning his reputation into the international DJ arena.

In July 2013, Julian was invited to DJ for Microsoft’s annual conference, including the closing party, which was held in Atlanta, Georgia USA. Julian’s five hour set was so well received that he quickly cemented a DJ legend status and was the talk of the party week.

DJ Julian Lacey easily whips his crowd into a frenzy through precise mixing and a distinguished sound. Julian knows how to create the perfect synergy in every set. He combines his extensive experience and infectious energy with the perfect selection of deep and uplifting house tracks.

Now, with over twenty years in the business, the man includes promoter, production manager and lighting designer to his extensive resume. His most recent project being the recently launched Squid Jig Music DJ management company which has quickly picked up a number of venues. Currently, Julian is a resident at Sydney’s Name This Bar, in Darlinghurst, on Friday nights.

For the already initiated, if you find yourself at a club where DJ Julian Lacey is pumping out the sets, you’ll know to hang on for the ride. For the uninitiated, well…buckle up….cause here we go!

Fresh house beats, dance floors and Adam Cox, were made to be together. Stirring up a collection of tunes has always been his specialty, and he ignites a fire inside the hearts and souls of many, who crowd in each week just to hear him play.
His collection of house rhythms is diverse; and this is put together with a creative flair and driving force of energy, which has dance music enthusiasts gagging for more each and every time.

Adam has kept ears open over the years: he has evolved within the electronic music world, yet he has maintained a unique character and style, which sets him apart from the rest. Whilst favouring upfront house tempos and melodies, his love also spreads to uplifting progressive and deep, funky beats.

Turning more than a few heads across his hometown of Brisbane, Adam is now doing the same in Sydney, where he resides. Here, he has created his own events company named All Hour Beats, which fuel his sound, and give the punters a new reason to dance. His role as a DJ has led him to take the reigns at various clubs along the east coast of Australia including the likes of: The Wickham (QLD), Escape (QLD), Family (QLD), Midnight Shift (SYD) and ivy (SYD). Adam also holds a long-standing residency at UP Day club (SYD), as well as being a part of the ever-evolving Hot Kandi parties (SYD) that cause mayhem along Oxford St on a regular basis.

Now putting his hands to work on production, Adam is a creative genius that is committed to driving evolution in the world of dance music, and is definitely one to watch in the coming years.
